There are three D’s that can come around when dealing with uncertainty. When we become vulnerable, we tend to make dumb choices that compound the mess in our lives. We might get into doomed relationships. And we pick up destructive habits. Honesty is as always the best policy. “Do not lie to each other, since you have taken off your old self with its practices.” (Colossians 3:9) “My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me.” (John 10:27) “And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.” (Romans 8:28) “Jesus looked at them and said, ‘With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.'” (Matthew 19:26) So we can see from The Word that God gives us the power to live strong and move beyond the three D’s.
