Read Luke 2:8-20. Good news! God loves us. If He was into religion, He could have stayed on His throne and told us what to do. But He is into relationship, freeing us to love Him in our way. God knows what we’re going through. When we realive that, we can trust that it’s up to Him, not us. And we can have hope. “Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that you will abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.” (Romans 15:13 NASB) We can get through the hard stuff because we have hope. “God saved us and called us his own people not because of what we have done, but because of his purpose and grace.” (2 Timothy 1:9 EV) God saved us. Logic and emotions will keep us from the greatest moments of our life. Faith isn’t logical. God is for us. He wants the best for us. Today we can live in freedom from guilt because He loves us, He knows, He saved us, and He’s for us. God wants us to live with hope, love and freedom.
