“I have no peace! I have no quiet! I have no rest! And trouble keeps coming!” (Job 3:26 GW)  “As long as the earth remains, there will be springtime and harvest, cold and heat, winter and summer, day and night.” (Genesis 8:22 TLB) “There is a time for everything, and everything on earth has its special season.” (Ecclesiastes 3:1 NCV)

We all go through seasons. What do we know about them? Seasons are beyond our control. In our minds, they don’t happen at the right time. But there is a purpose for every season, some good and some bad. How do we get the most from each season, and find some breathing room? We should always ask ourselves what we can learn from the season we’re in. We can reduce our anxiety by setting some boundaries. We can find something to enjoy in every season. “People ought to enjoy every day of their lives, no matter how long they live…” And we should find a way to help others through the season.

I asked for strength. God gave me difficulties to make me strong.
I asked for wisdom. God gave me problems to solve.
I asked for prosperity. God gave me brawn and brain to work.
I asked for courage. God gave me dangers to overcome.
I asked for patience. God placed me in situations where I was forced to wait.
I asked for love.God gave me troubled people to help.
I asked for favors. God gave me opportunities.
I received nothing I wanted.
I received everything I needed.
My prayers have all been answered.
