Here is today’s video encouraging word with Pastor Joel Pagett.
Welcome to Got 90. Thanks for taking the time to be with me. Life gets very challenging. Do you ever notice sometimes everybody puts these expectations on you, and they want you to do this and they want you to do that. And then when you don’t do it, it’s like you just failed miserably. How do you live under the pressure that everybody wants this and everybody wants that? How do you make time for yourself? How do you make time for your faith? How do you make time for…? The list goes on. What it comes down to is you making the choice to have priorities. What’s important to you? I don’t believe it’s important that everybody likes you. Not everybody’s going to like you. Not everybody’s going to care. Because we live in a selfish world. But the reality is when you have your priorities, you’re setting up your roadmap so not everybody else is setting it up. The Bible says, “Choose you this day whom you will serve.” (Joshua 24:15) The way I understand it, it’s a choice to choose Him. But so many people are asking so much of us that we’re almost having to decide if we’re choosing them or choosing God. No, it’s not about that. “Choose you this day whom you will serve.” And that’s God. And as you serve Him, you can serve others because you’ll have that part under control. And you’ll be in charge of how you serve others. Go make a difference in someone’s life, and don’t let that pressure hold you back. God bless you with a great day.
