“Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with that person, and they with me.” (Revelation 3:20) Peace with God. “Now that we have been put right with God through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.” (Romans 5:1 GNT). How do we have peace with God? Because He made the peace. His peace is not conditional. “Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 4:6-7 NLT) “But I reckon my own life to be worth nothing to me; I only want to complete my mission and finish the work that the Lord Jesus gave me to do, which is to declare the Good News about the grace of God.” (Acts 20:24 GNT) We were not created just to consume resources. God designed us to make a difference with our life. “It is God himself who has made us what we are and given us new lives from Christ Jesus; and long ages ago he planned that we should spend these lives in helping others.” (Ephesians 2:10 TLB) “If God only used perfect people, nothing would get done. God will use anybody if you’re available.” (Rick Warren) Community action is God’s answer to defeat. “So we rebuilt the wall till all of it reached half its height, for the people worked with all their heart.” (Nehemiah 4:6 NIV) The Message says “… the people had a heart for the work”.
