CHECK OUT THIS VERSE
Psalm 65;1-11 NASB
‘You have crowned the year with Your bounty, and Your paths drip with fatness.’
One Bible teacher says: “
Like most people you have probably made New Year’s resolutions to lose weight, exercise, eat better…and improve your life. But did you know that the desire to improve your life with each New Year started in the heart of God? David said, ‘You have crowned the year with Your bounty, and Your paths drip with fatness.’ In Bible times ‘fatness’ was considered a sign of material success. Moses sent twelve spies in to scout out the Promised Land and report back on whether it was ‘fat or lean.’ They brought back word saying that it ‘flowed with milk and honey’ (See Nu 13:26-27). The land was so fruitful that it took two men to carry one cluster of grapes! So, what will it take for you to experience God’s blessing this coming year? Note the words crowned, bounty, and paths. In the same way a crown encircles your head, this year you can be surrounded by God’s bountiful goodness. But you must walk in His ‘paths’ throughout the year, because only His paths ‘drip with fatness.’ You cannot expect success if you are not willing to walk in close fellowship with Him every day.
I will make them and the places round about My hill a blessing. there shall be showers of blessing [of good insured by God’s favor]’ (Eze 34:26 AMP). The places around God’s habitation will be showered with blessing and goodness; so…stay close to God each day of this year.”

NEED TO ANSWER HOW PEOPLE CAN SIGN UP TO PATICPATE
There are many good reasons, and even health benefits, for fasting. However, our ALL-CHURCH UNITED 21 DAY FAST will be to seek God’s will in our lives and prepare us for the new year and our 2021 IT’S A NEW YEAR emphasis. But why fast?
1. Fasting gives you more time for prayer. You can use the time you would normally spend eating in prayer for what God wants to do among us during this Campaign. In the Bible, fasting is always connected with prayer.
As the king's order reached every area, there was great sadness and loud crying among the Jewish people. They gave up eating and cried out loud, and many of them lay down on rough cloth and ashes to show how sad they were. Esther 4:3
2. Fasting demonstrates the depth of your desire when praying for something. It shows you mean business with God – you are serious enough about your prayer request to pay a personal price. God honors deep desire and praying in faith.
Declare a holy fast; call a sacred assembly. Summon the elders and all who live in the land to the house of the Lord your God and cry out to the Lord. Joel 1:14
Even now,” declares the Lord, “return to Me with all your heart, with fasting and weeping and mourning. Joel 2:12
3. Fasting releases God’s supernatural power. It is a tool we can use when there is opposition to God’s will. Satan would like nothing better than to cause division, discouragement, defeat, depression, and doubt among us. United prayer and fasting have always been used by God to deal a decisive blow to the enemy!
So, we fasted and prayed to God about this, and He answered our prayer. Ezra 8:23
God says, “Is not this the kind of fasting I have chosen: to lose the chains of injustice and untie the cords of the yoke, to set the oppressed free and break every yoke? Isaiah 58:6
THE IMPORTANCE OF FASTING
Often in the Bible, God’s people fasted immediately before a major victory, miracle, or answer to prayer. It prepared them for a blessing!
· Moses fasted before he received the Ten Commandments.
Moses was there with the Lord forty days and forty nights without eating bread or drinking water. And he wrote on the tablets the words of the covenant--the Ten Commandments. Exodus 34:28
· The Israelites fasted before a miraculous victory.
Some men came and told Jehoshaphat, "A vast army is coming against you from Edom, from the other side of the Sea. It is already in Hazazon Tamar" (that is, En Gedi). Alarmed, Jehoshaphat resolved to inquire of the Lord, and he proclaimed a fast for all Judah. 2 Chronicles 20:2-3
· Daniel fasted to receive guidance from God.
So, I turned to the Lord God and pleaded with him in prayer and petition, in fasting, and in sackcloth and ashes. Daniel 9:3
While I was still in prayer, Gabriel, the man I had seen in the earlier vision, came to me in swift flight about the time of the evening sacrifice. He instructed me and said to me, "Daniel, I have now come to give you insight and understanding. Daniel 21-22
· Nehemiah fasted before beginning a major building project.
When I heard these things, I sat down and wept. For some days I mourned and fasted and prayed before the God of heaven. Nehemiah 1:4
· Jesus fasted during His victory over temptation.
For forty wilderness days and nights he was tested by the Devil. He ate nothing during those days, and when the time was up, he was hungry. Luke 4:2
· The first Christians fasted during decision-making times.
While they were worshiping the Lord and fasting, the Holy Spirit said, "Set apart for me Barnabas and Saul for the work to which I have called them." So, after they had fasted and prayed, they placed their hands on them and sent them off. Acts 13:2-3
1. Remember that fasting is not “earning” an answer to prayer. God cannot be blackmailed by human effort. God wants to answer our prayers and He answers out of grace. Fasting simply prepares us for God’s answer.
2. Fast only if your health allows it currently. If you are able, only to do a partial fast - do it in faith and God will honor your intentions.
NOW, DECIDE WHAT TYPE OF FAST YOU’LL FOLLOW:
A Normal Fast – skip the next three meals A Partial Fast – skip one or two meals A “Juice” Fast – drink only fruit or vegetable juices during mealtimes
Note: You should always drink water while fasting

Monday Day 1 JAN 4, 11, 18
KEY WORD SECURITY – God is who he says he is he has given us the holy spirit to live in victory.
Psalms 78:4-7 CEV
These are things we learned from our ancestors, and we will tell them to the next generation. We will not keep secret the glorious deeds and the mighty miracles of the Lord. God gave his Law to Jacob’s descendants, the people of Israel. And he told our ancestors to teach their children, so that each new generation would know his Law and tell it to the next. Then they would trust God and obey his teachings, without forgetting anything God had done.
CHOOSE TO PARTNER IN HIS "YES"
Ephesians 3 tells us
God has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ. Then Paul begins unwrapping the gifts for us. He shows that we have been chosen by the Father (1:4-6); redeemed by the Son, who revealed to us His eternal purpose (1:7-12); and now, sealed by the Holy Spirit (1:13-14); all, to the praise of His glory (1:6, 12, 14).
ACTS 1; 8
8 But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”
2 TIMOTHY 1;7 amp
For God did not give us a spirit of timidity or cowardice or fear, but [He has given us a spirit] of power and of love and of sound judgment and personal discipline [abilities that result in a calm, well-balanced mind, and self-control].
God help me to trust in you ….
Proverbs 3:5-6 NLT If you want favor with both God and man, and a reputation for good judgment and common sense, then trust the Lord completely; do not ever trust yourself. In everything you do, put God first, and he will direct you and crown your efforts with success.
GOD YOU GOT ME
Matthew 11:28-30 MSG “Are you tired? Worn out? Burned out on religion? Come to me. Get away with me and you will recover your life. I will show you how to take a real rest. Keep company with me and you’ll learn to live freely and lightly.”
YOU HAVE GIVEN ME THE FOUNDATION STEPS
Psalm 127:1-2 MSG If God does not build the house, the builders only build shacks. If God does not guard the city, the night watchman might as well nap. It’s useless to rise early and go to bed late and work your worried fingers to the bone. Don’t you know he enjoys giving rest to those he loves?

They will speak what God has revealed.
Luke 10:41-42 TPT The Lord answered her, “Martha, my beloved Martha. Why are you upset and troubled, pulled away by all these many distractions? Are they really that important? Luke 6:46 NIV “Why do you call me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ and do not do what I say?
James 1:22-25 NIV Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says. Anyone who listens to the word but does not do what it says is like someone who looks at his face in a mirror and, after looking at himself, goes away and immediately forgets what he looks like. But whoever looks intently into the perfect law that gives freedom and continues in it—not forgetting what they have heard but doing it—they will be blessed in what they do.

Neh. 1:3b-4, 2:4-5, 8b NLT ...The wall of Jerusalem has been torn down, and the gates have been destroyed by fire.” When I heard this, I sat down and wept. In fact, for days I mourned, fasted, and prayed to the God of heaven.
The king asked, “Well, how can I help you?” With a prayer to the God of heaven, I replied, “If it please the king, and if you are pleased with me, your servant, send me to Judah to rebuild the city where my ancestors are buried.”
...And the king granted these requests because the gracious hand of God was on me.
Luke 11:10-13 AMP For everyone who keeps on asking [persistently], receives; and he who keeps on seeking [persistently], finds; and to him who keeps on knocking [persistently], the door will be opened. What father among you, if his son asks for a fish, will give him a snake instead of a fish? Or if he asks for an egg, will give him a scorpion? If you, then, being evil [that is, sinful by nature], know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask and continue to ask Him!"
John 16:24 MSG “This is what I want you to do: Ask the Father for whatever is in keeping with the things I’ve revealed to you. Ask in my name, according to my will, and he will most certainly give it to you. Your joy will be a river overflowing its banks!
